The reservation form is not a charge. A card number and security code are not asked for and are not stored. The request lands in the office. A place is held once the office confirms the day and the price. Payment is taken by the office after that.
There is no free-cancellation promise and no single refund window for every tour. If a tour has cancellation terms, they are on its page. If it does not, write to the office before you pay. The office says what applies to that tour. Stepping back before payment is not a refund of money already taken, because nothing has been taken.
For a tour, a stay, or transport on a specific date, the statutory right of withdrawal usually does not apply. That does not mean every tour can be cancelled whenever you like. What applies is the note on the tour page, or the note the office sends before you pay.
